ORDER 31.12.2024

Record reveals that notice was issued in the instant petition way back on 07.09.2012 and the last date of hearing in the instant petition was 09.07.2014 and since then no efforts were ever made by the petitioner to get the case listed for almost 10 years.

Today when the case was listed before this Court, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting the instant petition.

Even otherwise also, the petitioner, through the medium of the instant petition is seeking quashment of the tentative select penal for the post of Rehbar-e-Taleem Teacher in Middle School Dhandal Zone Bhagwah, District Doda so far as placement of respondent No. 6 at Serial No. 1 of the panel is concerned besides seeking a direction for recommending the name of petitioner for engagement as ReT Teacher, in which scheme has already been withdrawn by the Government and even otherwise also, the present petition has been rendered infructuous.

In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed for non-prosecution along with connected application(s).

Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated.

(Wasim Sadiq Nargal) Judge
