Hon. Prafulla C. Pant, J.

Mr. R.K. Verma, Advocate, present for the petitioners. Mr. M.A. Khan, Brief Holder, present for the State.

By means of this writ petition, moved under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have sought quashing of the first information report dated 06.10.2010, lodged at police station Jwalapur (Crime No. 303 of 2010), relating to offences punishable under Section 498-A, 323 of I.P.C., and one punishable under Section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the State, wherein it is mentioned that charge sheet has been filed against all the three accused / petitioners.

In view of the above development, as the investigation has been completed, this writ petition for quashing of the first information report, has become infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed, as infructuous.

Interim order dated 25.10.2010, passed by this court, stands vacated.
