The petitioner is Assistant Engineer in substantive capacity. However, today he is working as Executive Engineer Incharge. He has been suspended. Preliminary inquiry is going on. The order of suspension is under challenge. We are not inclined to entertain under Article 226 of the Constitution.

The Corporation has every right to hold departmental inquiry, if so advised. We are directing the Corporation to expedite the inquiry. Subject to above, the writ petition is rejected.
