WPMB No. 879 of 2002

Hon’ble P.C. Verma, J.Hon’ble M.M. Ghildiyal, J.

Heard Sri G.S. Negi learned counsel for the petitioner learned C.S.C.

and

This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus to command the respondent to allot accommodation to the petitioner in the pooled houses constructed for the various departments of the government servants. There did not exist any right for having an official accommodation because if the official accommodation is not allotted a government servant gets house rent allowance in lieu of the official accommodation. Therefore, we are not inclined to entertain this petition.

The petition is dismissed accordingly.
