RAM CHAND GUPTA, J.(Oral)
The present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is forissuance of direction to respondent nos.2 and 3 to protect the life and libertyof the petitioners at the hands of respondent nos.5 to 9.Heard.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that petitionerwould be satisfied if respondent no.2, i.e., Senior Superintendent of Police,Fazilka, is directed to look into representation, Annexure P1, in accordancewith law, already stated to have been moved before him.
It is contended that petitioner is major and a student and wantsto study further and, however, her parents intend to perform her marriageforcibly with a divorced person and due to that fact, acts of cruelty havebeen committed upon her and her life is in danger.
In view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for thepetitioner and without going into the merits of the claim raised by thepetitioner, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2,i.e.,Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka, to take appropriate action, inaccordance with law, on application, dated 23.12.2013, Annexure P1,already stated to have been moved to him by the petitioner.
