O R D E R
This is an application for bail filed by accused Nos.1 to 3 in Cr.No.336/06 of the Feroke Police Station. The allegationsagainst the accused are that they formed an unlawful assembly,attacked the Sub Inspector of Police and party and therebycommitted offences, including Sections 332 and 307 of the I.P.C.No weapon had been alleged to have been used for committingthe offence. Accused Nos.4 to 6 had already been granted bailby this Court. The accused are already in judicial custody for thelast 17 days.
I feel this is a fit case where bail can be granted on conditions. Therefore the petition is allowed and the petitionerswill be released on bail on the following conditions.
(i) Each petitioner shall execute bond for Rs.15,000/- with twosolvent sureties each for the like amount to the satisfaction ofthe Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-V, Kozhikode.(ii)They shall report before the Investigating Officer on everyTuesday between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
