O R D E R
Petitioner who is the first accused in Crime No.244/06 of EloorPolice Station for offences punishable under sections 406 and 420 readwith section 34 IPC, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. Even though I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail tothe petitioner, I am inclined to give an opportunity to the petitioner tosurrender before the Investigating Officer for interrogation andthereafter for his regular bail application considered by the Magistrateconcerned. Accordingly, the petitioner shall surrender before theInvestigating Officer on any day between 27.12.2006 and 3.1.2007 forthe purpose of custodial interrogation and recovery of incriminatingdocuments, if any. The petitioner shall thereafter be produced beforethe Magistrate having jurisdiction on the same day, who shall disposeof the application for regular bail, preferably on the same date onwhich it is filed.
With this direction, this petition is disposed of.
