J U D G M E N T
The petitioner is the holder of a regular permit to operate service on the route Thrissur-Thriprayarpursuant to Ext.P1. The petitioner has submitted anapplication for renewal of Ext.P1 permit under Section81 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. The petitionersubmits that the application has been filed within thestatutory time limit. The limited prayer of thepetitioner is for consideration of Ext.P2 statutoryapplication pending before the respondent.
2. Heard; the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for therespondent.
3. In the facts and circumstances of the case and in the nature of the limited relief prayed for by thepetitionerinthewritpetition,therewill be a direction, directing the respondent to W.P.(C)No.30837/2021
-:3:- consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 applicationsubmitted by the petitioner for grant of renewal ofExt.P1 permit. This shall be done within a period ofone month from the date of receipt of a certified copyof this judgment with notice to the petitioner.
This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
