JUDGMENT
The prayer in this writ petition is for an order directingrespondents 1 to 3 to issue orders promoting the petitioner to thepost of Technical Assistant (Library) in the Sree SankaracharyaUniversity of Sanskrit. The petitioner has also sought an orderdirecting the respondents to implement ratio based promotionamong the Library staff in terms of Ext.P11 decision taken by theSyndicate of the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit,Kalady. When the writ petition came up for hearing today, thelearned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that theUniversity has issued orders implementing ratio based promotionamong the Library staff and that orders have been issuedpromoting the petitioner as Technical Assistant in the scale of payof Rs.16980-31360/-. Sri.Arun B.Varghese, learned standingcounsel appearing for the Sree Sankaracharya University ofSanskrit made available to me a copy of the University orderdated 19.12.2012 whereby the Pro Vice Chancellor in charge of -:2:- the Vice Chancellor has accorded sanction to implement ratiobased promotion among the Library staff and to promote LibraryAssistants to the post of Technical Assistant as also a copy of theorder dated 19.12.2012 promoting the petitioner and six others tothe category of Technical Assistant.
In such circumstances I am of the opinion that no furtherorders are called for in this writ petition. The writ petition isaccordingly closed as infructuous.
