O R D E R
Petitioner is the accused in crime no.569/2016 of the Idukkipolice station. The allegation against him is that he committed anoffence punishable under section 354 A of the IPC. The learnedPublic Prosecutor on verification of the case diary submits that thecase has been registered only under section 354 A of the IPC. It isalso submitted that no other penal provision is incorporated.Section 354 A of the IPC is a bailable offence. The learned counselfor the petitioner therefore submits that the application can bedismissed recording the said fact. As the offence alleged againstthe petitioner is bailable, the application is dismissed.
