The petitioner is placed second in the District School Kalotsavam. Itis submitted that the difference between the petitioner and the first rankedcandidate is 26. The main relief sought for in the writ petition is for adirection to the third respondent to allow him to participate in the item ofLight Music in the State level school Kalotsavam scheduled to be held from30[th] of this month. Even though the petitioner contends that Ext.P1 serieswill show that the petitioner had been meritorious to be placed as first, inthe light of the fact that the petitioner is placed only second after dueassessment of the performance, I do not think that this Court will bejustified in sitting over in appeal against the decision of the AppealCommittee. The writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
