A complaint no. 323 of 2007 was filed by Vinita in the court of Judicial Magistrate, Ranikhet against as many as seven persons, who all are petitioners herein. In the said case, order of cognizance was passed on 04.08.2007 against all the accused persons under Sections 323, 420, 504, 493, 495, 109 IPC.

Learned counsel for the parties have apprised this Court that trial has still not commenced and parties have entered into a compromise.
