JUDGMENT

Dated this the 31st day of December 2019

The petitioner is said to have been running a canteen in the compound of the District GeneralHospital, Neyyatinkara. However, in the year 2017, thecanteen was closed down for renovation. The petitionerwas under the legitimate expectation that the canteenwould be handed over to him after the renovation work. However, the respondents have not handed overpossession of the canteen to the petitioner. Thepetitioner now apprehends that the respondents are nowattempting to give the canteen to some of their closeassociates.

2. In the above circumstances, the petitioner hassubmitted that Ext.P3 representation dated 03/09/2019,which is pending consideration before the 2[nd]respondent. The petitioner contends that, despitependency of the representation, no orders have beenpassed on the same.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitionerand the learned Government Pleader. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that Ext.P3 representation is pending before the 2[nd]respondent and no orders have been passed.

Having regard to the fact that Ext.P3 is pendingbefore the 3[rd] respondent, I direct the 2[nd] respondent to consider Ext. P3 in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders on it as expeditiously as is possible, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

This writ petition is ordered accordingly.
