Learned Advocate for the petitioner states that he does not press the challenge to the notification dated 3[rd] January 2002. Therefore, to that extent the writ petition stands dismissed.

The Registration Tribunal has now been set up by the State of Uttaranchal. This is an admitted position. Petitioner has applied for registration. We are directing the Registration Tribunal to resister the petitioner only if the petitioner hold the requisite educational qualification as prescribed by Pharmacy Council of India Education Regulations 1991 for the diploma course in Pharmacy.

Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of.
