WP No. 818 (M/B) of 2002 Hon’ble Irshad Hussain,J. Hon’ble M.M.Ghildiyal,J.
Heard Sri M.C. learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel.
Kandpal,
The grievance of the petitioner
in this writ petition, which is referred as Public Interest Litigation, is that there was some complaint against the Chief Managing Director of Uttaranchal Power Corporation and the inquiry is said to have been initiated against him by the Government. The petitioner wants that the report of inquiry be made public. The petitioner could not show under what provision he has a right to have the report of the inquiry made public. Even under the Commission of Inquiry Act, the reports are not made public without placing those reports in the Assembly or House, as the case may be. If the petitioner has any grievance, which has not been redressed, he has a right to make complaint before the Lokayukta. In view of this, we do not propose to entertain the petition.
