Petitioner is a General Foreman in the printing department since14.06.2007. Ext.P1 is the order declaring her probation with effect from19.06.2008. According to the petitioner, her next cadre of promotion isAssistant Superintendent to which post she is eligible and is qualified. However, she apprehends that, for want of seniority list in the cadre ofGeneral Foreman, her name would not be considered.

2. In the above circumstances, she has filed Exts.P2 and P3

representations to the 2[nd] respondent to regularize her promotion. She hasalso filed Ext.P4 praying for publication of the seniority list. It is statedthat these representations are pending. In this writ petition, petitionerseeks an order requiring the 2[nd] respondent to consider and pass orders onExt.P2 to P4.

3. In the light of the facts as stated above, I am satisfied thatthe petitioner is justified in seeking the aforesaid prayer.

4. Therefore the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2[nd]respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts.P2 to P4, if theserepresentations have been received and are pending.

Order shall be passed as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within 6 weeks of production of a copy of this judgment along with a copyof this writ petition.
