The grievance of the petitioner is that junior to him in service has been promoted by the respondents and the vacancy in the cadre of the Assistant Engineer also exists. He claims that he is entitled to be promoted to the post of Assistant Engineer.
The respondent authority shall consider and decide the case of the petitioner for promotion according to rules, if junior to him has been promoted within a period of four months. With this, the petition is disposed of.
