PC:
Date: 17-10-2003.
Heard Sri Rakesh Thapliyal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri N.B. Tiwari, learned Chief Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner is to appear in the main examination to be conducted by the Uttaranchal Public Service Commission for which he is required to file O.B.C. (Jaat Sikh) certificate under which category he had earlier applied for the post. He had moved an application before the Tehsildar respondent No.2 for grant of required certificate.
Considering this, the respondents are directed to pass the appropriate order on the application of the petitioner which was preferred on 1[st] of October 2003 according to the policy of the Uttaranchal Government and the notification applicable thereto in regard to the O.B.C. in Uttaranchal at the earliest. With this direction the petition is finally disposed of.
