The petitioner alleges that he gave a complaint to the 2[nd]respondent on 27.11.2018 and that even though C.S.R.No.698 of2018 was issued, till date, no further action has been taken. Itappears that it is a case of job racketing. Since cognizableoffence has been made out, the second respondent is bound toregister an FIR. The second respondent is not justified inkeeping the complaint pending.

2. In view of the above, a direction is issued to thesecond respondent to register the FIR based on the petitioner'scomplaint and take further action in accordance with law. It ismade clear that this Court has not pronounced anything on themerits of the matter and the direction is given based on theaverments made in the complaint.

3. This Criminal Original Petition is allowed in the aboveterms.
