In the facts and circumstances of the case, we are directing the petitioner to continue in the post of Principal in the officiating capacity till appointment of seniormost lecturer.

On such appointment, the petitioner will cease to occupy the post of Principal in Officiating capacity.

Subject to above, the writ petition is rejected.
