Hon’ble P.C. Pant, J.

This is bail application moved on behalf of Karan Kapoor S/o Amrit Lal Kapur, who is in jail in connection with case crime No. 193 of 2004 under Section 302 / 34 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code registered at P.S. Laxman Jhula, District Pauri Garhwal.

Heard Mr. D.C.S. Rawat, learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.

It is a case of circumstantial evidence. A dead body was found near Laxman Jhula. It is alleged that the deceased had come to Rishikesh with the applicant and with some other relatives. In the above facts and circumstances, without expressing any opinion as to the final merits of the case, this Court is of the view that it is a fit case for bail. Let the applicant Karan Kapoor be released on bail on his executing a personal bond and furnishing two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pauri Garhwal.
