Date of decision: 05/12/2000
(Per : MR.JUSTICE R.K.ABICHANDANI)
The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the challenge against the provisions of Section 5 of the Gujarat Closes Textile Undertakings (Nationalisation) Ordinance, 1985, does not survive in view of the fact that the said Ordinance has been repealed by Section 36(1) of the Gujarat Closed Textile Undertakings (Nationalisation) Act, 1986, the provisions of which have not been challenged in this petition. The petition is therefore rejected. Rule is discharged with no order as to costs.
