Hon’ble P.C. Verma, J.

This petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 1.11.2000 contained in Annexure – 3 to the writ petition by which the Joint Director of Education has approved the appointment of respondent no 6. The petitioner has no grievance against the appointment of respondent No. 6. The only grievance of the petitioner is with regard to his seniority.

The seniority of a teacher is to be recekoned in accordance with the provision of regulation 2 of chapter-3 of the regulation of the Intermediate Education Act and the seniority of a teacher is to be reckoned from the date of regular appointment i.e. from the date of approval by the D.I.O.S/ Regional Deputy Director. Admittedly the petitioner is regularly appointed teacher prior to the passing of the impugned order dated 1.11.2000.

Therefore, apparently there appears no dispute with regard to seniority also.

For the reasons mentioned above, the writ petition is mis-conceived and is hereby dismissed. No order as to costs.
