Prayer:This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of theConstitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus,directing the respondent to formulate a scheme for the purpose ofregulating the conduct of the trade and business of the members ofthe petitioner, in their respective places on the Northern Platformof NSB Road, Tiruchirappalli abutting the Southern Wall ofTheppakulam of a width of 3 feet to a length of 350 feet and forbearthe respondent from forcibly evicting the members of the petitionerswith their wares, goods, articles etc., from their respective placeson the northern platform NSB road, Tiruchirappalli abutting theSouthern Wall of Theppakulam.

This petition has been listed under the caption "For Dismissal",since there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner, on anearlier occasion, i.e., on 19.12.2007. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, this petition isdismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
