THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.K. JAISWAL.W.P.No.15435 of 2004

Oral Order:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking regularization of his services with effect from 1.8.1992instead of 29.9.1994 on the ground that by 1.8.1992 hecompleted 240 days of service having been regularlyappointed vide the proceedings dated 8.8.1991.

The main contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner along with several otherswere appointed as driver in the respondent-Corporationand that the petitioner was shown at serial no.16, joinedthe duty on 8.8.1991 and by 28.6.1992 he completed 240days of service, therefore his services ought to have beenregularized with effect from 1.8.1992.

Along with the writ petition, the petitioner also filed WPMP No.20031 of 2004 and this Court by its interimorder dated 1.10.2004 directed the respondent-Corporation to consider the case of the petitioner forregularization of his services on par with T.Sharanaiah andpass appropriate orders. In pursuance of the said interimorders of this Court, the respondent-Corporation has regularized the services of the petitioner as sought for. Sofar as the case of T.Sharanaiah is concerned, this Courtin W.P.No.18681 of 1998 by its order dated 18.8.1998directed to regularize his services with effect from the dateon which he completed 240 days of service but notsubsequent thereto.

In view of the interim orders of this Court dated 1.10.2004 in WPMP No.20031 of 2004, and it beingcomplied with, nothing survives for further adjudication inthe matter. Hence, the writ petition is accordingly disposedof in terms of interim order dated 1.10.2004 in WPMPNo.20031 of 2004. No costs. Miscellaneous Petitions ifany shall stand closed.
