Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in thecircumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction particularly in the nature of a writ ofMandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not fixing the scale of pay ofthe Petitioners as Rs.1010-1800 in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.288 Finance andPlanning (Finance Wing PRC-I) Department dated 12.11.1986 and G.O.Ms.No.172Social Welfare (G1) Department dated 07.07.1987 of the Government of AndhraPradesh as arbitrary, illegal, in violation of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution ofIndia and to issue a consequential direction to respondents to refix the pay scales ofthe petitioners as Rs.1010-1800 with effect from 01.08.1988 and 01.01.1986respectively with all consequential benefits flowing there from forthwith.
