The Court made the following :

JUDGMENT :(Per the Honourable Smt. Justice T.Meena Kumari)

This writ appeal is filed by the writ petitioner-appellant herein aggrieved bythe order in W.P. No: 6088 of 2004, under which the learned single Judge dismissedthe said writ petition.

The appellant herein is the writ petitioner. The learned single Judge havingobserved that, the petitioner has not questioned with regard to the process ofselection and the competence of the sixth respondent, dismissed the writ petition.Having aggrieved by the same, the present writ appeal is preferred by the appellant-writ petitioner.

Heard the learned counsel.

We have perused the order impugned and the entire material available onrecord. It is observed by the learned single Judge that admittedly, the sixthrespondent stood first in the selection process and secured more number of marksand therefore, she was selected. It is further observed by the learned single Judgethat the petitioner has not questioned with regard to the process of selection and thecompetence of the sixth respondent.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner has contendedthat the writ petitioner has possessed the requisite qualification whereas the sixthrespondent did not possess the requisite qualification. It is further contended that atthe time of interview, the subject expert in wood work has alone attended theinterview as Expert Member but no expert in tailoring had attended the interview andtherefore, the selection and appointment of the 6[th] respondent is untenable.

As rightly observed by the learned single Judge, the writ petitioner has notquestioned the process of selection and the competence of the sixth respondent. Therefore, we are not inclined to agree with the contentions raised by the learnedcounsel for the writ petitioner. We do not find any illegality or irregularity in the orderpassed by the learned single Judge and as such, it does not warrant anyinterference by this Court.

In the result, the Writ Appeal is dismissed confirming the order of the learned __________________
