ORAL ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of therespondents in not disposing of the representation of the petitioner dt.16-3-2006 filed for consideration to the post of Language Pandit-Hindi-Grade I in Nellore District under non-local category as beingillegal and arbitrary and consequently to direct the respondents toconsider her forthwith to the said post.
Petitioner states that the 2[nd] respondent/Commissioner andDirector ofSchool Education, Hyderabad issued notification on 14-11-2003 inviting applications for the posts of Hindi LanguagePandits Grade I and Grade II and other allied posts of SchoolAssistants and she applied for the post of Language Pandits HindiGrde I to be filled in Nelllore District. She further states that since shewas one of the selected candidate for the said post under non-localcategory her caste certificate was verified.
It is the grievance of the petitioner that she was one of theselected candidate for the said post under non-local category andthough her caste certificate was verified she was not selected on theground that she is non-local. Her further grievance is that on 16-3-2006she made representation to the 1[st] respondent/District Collector,Nellore District, Nellore to consider her case under non-local category, but till date no orders were passed on the said representation.
Inasmuch as the representation of the petitioner dated 16-3-2006 made to the 1[st] respondent/District Collector, Nellore seekingposting orders as non-local candidate is pending consideration, Ideem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with the direction asunder:
The 1[st] respondent/District Collector, Nellore District is directedto consider and pass appropriate orders expeditiously on therepresentation dated 16-3-2006 filed by the petitioner.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
