ORDER:-

This writ petition is filed for a Writ of Certiorari to quashorder dated 15.05.1996 in APSE case No.65 of 1995 by whichrespondent No.2 directed the petitioner to pay a sum ofRs.36,392/- towards service compensation.

At the hearing, Sri P. Ananth Nageshwar Rao, learnedcounsel for the petitioner submitted that though stay was grantedinitially on 22.09.1999, the same was vacated on 20.10.2000 and awrit appeal filed against the said order was also dismissed. Thelearned counsel, however, is unable to say whether the impugnedorder has been implemented or not.

In view of the vacation of the interim stay, it is reasonableto presume that warrant issued by the V Metropolitan Magistrate,Vijayawada in Form No.44 on 14.05.1999 for execution of theimpugned order would have been executed.

The writ petition is therefore dismissed as infructuous.
