JUDGMENT :

This appeal is filed purportedly under Section 49 of theChit Funds and Lotteries Act, 1982 challenging the award anddecree dated 22.04.2013 in AA/CF/No.83 of 2012 of the DeputyRegistrar of Chits, Nalgonda District at Nalgonda.

Under the Chit Fund Act, 1982 there is no provision forappeal to the High court against an award of the Deputy Registrarof Chits passed under Section 64 of the Chit Fund Act, 1982 (forshort ‘the Act’) Act. Under Section 70 of the Act, an appeal isprovided to be to the State Government against the decision of theRegistrar or his nominee under Section 69 of the Act. In this viewof the matter, I am satisfied that the appeal to this Court does notlie.

Therefore, this appeal is dismissed as not maintainable, granting liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy beforethe appropriate forum. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneouspetitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.

The Registry to return the certified copy of the impugnedorder, to the counsel for petitioner, immediately.
