Heard learned counsel for the petitioners andlearned Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. This writ petition was filed challenging theaction of respondents 2 to 6 and 8 in not initiatingaction against the 7[th] respondent on the basis ofrepresentations dated 14.07.2009 submitted by thepetitioners.
3. The learned Government Pleader, on thebasis of instructions, submits that the petitionerssubmitted a report by post and after receiving thesame, the then Sub-Inspector of Police registeredCrime No.138 of 2009 of Kothapet Law and OrderPolice Station on 25.07.2009 and took upinvestigation. The 7[th] respondent, on the otherhand, also lodged a complaint and it was registeredas a case in Crime No.123 of 2009 of KothapetPolice station.
4. It is submitted that in order to defendthemselves against the case in Crime No.123 of 2009, the petitioners filed false report with falseallegations. After investigation the complaint filedby the petitioners proved to be false andaccordingly a notice was served on thecomplainants.
5. In view of the above, the writ petition isdismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneouspetitions, if any, shall stand dismissed inconsequence. No costs.
