Order:
This writ petition is filed, questioning the action ofrespondents in seizing the vehicle, i.e. Tractor and Trailerbearing Nos.
AP-31-AK-9098 and AP-31-TW-3115, respectively, belonging to the petitioner.
When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by thelearned counsel for petitioner that in similar circumstances,this Court disposed of W.P.No.31223 of 2010 on 10.12.2010,directing the respondent-authorities to release the seizedvehicle therein, subject to the petitioner therein producing thereceipt showing payment of penalty amount along with theownership documents. A copy of the said order is placed onrecord. Learned counsel for petitioner prays for disposal ofthis writ petition also, with the same directions, for which, thelearned Government Pleaders, appearing for respondents,reported no objection.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of witha direction to the respondents to release the Tractor andTrailer bearing Nos.AP-31-AK-9098 and AP-31-TW-3115,respectively, to the petitioner, subject to his producing theofficial receipt showing payment of penalty amount ascontemplated under the A.P. Minor Mineral Concession Rules,1966, framed under the Mines and Minerals (Regulation andDevelopment) Act, 1957, along with the ownershipdocuments. No order as to costs.
