ORDER:

The petitioner is a resident of Simhachalam Village. She isallegedly in possession of a hut with door No.6-182 situated atSimhachalam Village, Chinnagadili Mandal in Visakhapatnam Districtwithin the jurisdiction of Adavivaram Gram Panchayat. She made anapplication way back in April, 2004 to respondent No.2, namely, theMandal Revenue Officer (MRO) to issue house site patta, in vain. It isher case that MRO invited applications and prepared a list ofbeneficiaries and that her name was at serial No.522 of the list ofeligible beneficiaries. After that she allegedly constructed the abovementioned house and residing there. In this writ petition she seeks adirection to MRO to issue house site patta as per the eligibility listallegedly prepared in 2004.

After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and thelearned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (Assignment), thisCourt is of the considered opinion that as the petitioner seeksconsideration of her case, MRO may conduct enquiry and if thepetitioner is in possession as alleged and is also eligible as per theassignment rules, her case for allotment of house site may beconsidered within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of acopy of this order.

The writ petition, with the above observations, is accordinglydisposed of. No costs.
