Puram,Ananthapur Respondent Petition under Article 226 of the constitution of India praying that in thecircumstances stated in the Affidavit filed herein the High Court will be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or writs, order or direction,declaring the action of the respondent in not providing admission to the petitioner inL.L.B. Course as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution ofIndia, by directing the respondent to forthwith allot a seat to the petitioner in therespondent college, in L.L.B. Course, basing on the rank obtained by her inLAWCET-2003; award costs.

The petition coming on for orders as to admission, upon perusing the petitionand the affidavit filed therein and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.N. RangaReddy Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.B. Sree Ramulu Naidu SC for SKUniversity on behalf of the Respondent The Court made the following ORDER:-- “ Learned Standing Counsel for the University seeks two weeks time forfiling counter affidavit In the meanwhile, if a seat in the 1[st] year of LLB 3 Year’s Course isvacant, the same shall be kept unfilled. “
