3. Alleging that respondent No.2 is not cooperating with thepetitioner in enjoying the fruits of the Award, rhe present writ petitioncame to be filed. On 09.11.2021, the following order was passed:

"Petitioner seeks quashing of the award passed bythe Lok Adalat on the ground that respondent herein hasnot complied with the award.the Lok Adalat on the ground that respondent herein hasnot complied with the award.We find from lhe documents on record thatpetitioner, as the defendant, had sioned the award alonopetitioner, as the defendant, had sioned the award alonowith his counsel ' [2]

When attention of the learned counsel for thepetitioner was drawn to Section 2i of the Legal Services \

Authorities Act, 1987, to point out that the award of theLok Adalat is a decree of a [civrl ]court and, therefore, [can]be executed as such, [and ][a ][petition under ][Arlicle ][226 ][ol]the Constitution [of ][lndia may ][not be ][a ][remedy ][in ][such]circumstances, [he seeks ][time to examine this aspect ][of ][the]matter".
