ORDER:

The petitioner preferred an appeal before the 2[nd] respondent aggrieved by anorder, dated 24.02.2005, passed by the 3[rd] respondent herein. His grievance isthat it has not been disposed of as yet. The petitioner had urged severalcontentions, touching on the merits also.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counselfor the respondents.

Once the appeal preferred by the petitioner before the 2[nd] respondent ispending, this Court cannot undertake any discussion on the merits of thematter. Further, the appellate authority would be in a better position toappreciate the matter from various angles.

Hence, the Writ petition is disposed of, directing the 2[nd] respondent to passappropriate orders in the appeal preferred by the petitioner, within a period oftwo (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall beno order as to costs.
