ORAL ORDER:

It appears, petitioner’s grand father Survi Kistaiah was the fair price shop dealer of Tule Kalan village, Ibrahimpatnam mandal, RangaReddy district and he had valid authorization upto 31.3.2008.Unfortunately, he died on 6.9.2008. The grievance of the petitioner isthat his father is crippled and unhealthy, therefore being grandson andlooking after the entire family, he applied for allotment of the fair priceshop in his favour. In this regard, he also made a representation to therespondent on 16.9.2008 seeking to consider his request for allotmentof fair price shop held by his grand father in his name. According to thelearned counsel for petitioner, the said application is not acted uponand in the meanwhile, the said fair price shop is allotted to a third partyas a temporary measure.

Under those circumstances, without going into merits, the solerespondent is directed to consider the representation made by thepetitioner on 16.9.2008 and pass appropriate orders, as per law, for thepurpose of considering allotment of fair price shop in favour ofpetitioner, which was held by his grand father, as per the circulars inforce as of now. This exercise shall be done within a period of fourweeks from the date of receipt of this order.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as tocosts.
