HON’BLE DR. JUSTICE K.G. SHANKAR
CONTEMPT CASE NO. 1846 OF 2012
ORDER:
The Writ Petitioner sought for issuance of contemptproceedings against the respondents. A direction wasissued to the respondents to consider regularising thecompulsory wait period of the petitioner from 8.8.1969 till15.2.1970.
The learned Standing Counsel for A.P. Transco, produced proceedings dated 9.5.2013, wherein the periodof non duty from 8.8.1969 till 15.2.1970 was treated ascompulsory wait period. The direction of the Court isconsequently complied with. I, therefore, see no merit inthis petition, as I do not find any contempt on the part ofthe respondents.
Consequently, this Contempt Case is closed. If thepetitioner is aggrieved by the subsequent conduct of therespondents, it may lead to fresh cause of action, in which event, the petitioner shall certainly at liberty to invoke dueprocess of law accordingly.
