HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE B.SESHASAYANA REDDYCriminal Petition No.9298 of 2012

ORDER:-

The petitioner apprehends arrest in Cr.No.36 of 2011 ofAnanthasagaram Police Station, registered for the offence underSection 307 read with 34 of I.P.C.

This is the second anticipatory bail application. The earlierapplication being Criminal Petition No.5130 of 2012 filed by thepetitioner came to be dismissed on 27-6-2012.

Heard learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and learnedAdditional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State.

It is contended by the learned Counsel appearing for thepetitioner that police completed the investigation and therefore thepetitioner deserves for grant of anticipatory bail.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for therespondent-State opposed the petition.

The earlier application came to be dismissed taking into thegravity of the offence. Mere completion of investigation does not dilutethe gravity of the offence. In that view of the matter, I do not see anychanged circumstances that enure to the benefit of the petitioner torenew his request for grant of anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, Criminal Petition is dismissed.
