ORDER:

The innocuous grievance of the petitioners in this writ petitionis that respondent No.1 has not been disposing of the petitioners’representation dated 04.08.2012 for rectification of the extent of landshown in the registered sale deed bearing No.7500/81 dated16.09.1981.

At the hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader forRevenue expressed a doubt whether the power of rectification of thedocument is available with respondent No.1 or not.

In my opinion, respondent No.1 needs to examine therepresentation of the petitioners at first. If power to rectify thedocument as requested by the petitioners exists in him, he shallaccept the petitioners’ request. In a converse situation, he shallpass appropriate order on the petitioners’ representation. Respondent No.1 shall complete this exercise and communicate hisdecision to the petitioners within a period of one month from thedate of receipt of a copy of this order.

Subject to the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposedof.

As a sequel, W.P.M.P.No.47959 of 2012 shall stand disposedof as infructuous.
