ORDER:
It is the case of the petitioner that pursuant to the notificationissued by the respondent Corporation, he has applied for the post ofContract Junior Lineman. When he was not called for interview, hehad to approach this Court and, in pursuance of the interim directionsissued by this Court, he was interviewed on 08.06.2007. According tothe petitioner, though he has fared well in the said interview, passedall the tests and is fully qualified and eligible for being appointed to thepost of Junior Lineman, and though many vacancies are available asof now, the respondents insisted that unless and until there is adirection from this Court, his case shall not be considered forappointment.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressingany opinion on merits, the respondents are directed to declare theresults of the interviews conducted on 08.06.2007 in respect of thepetitioner and, if the petitioner is found successful in the said interview,his case may be considered for appointment to the post of ContractJunior Lineman in the existing vacancies.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Noorder as to costs.
