ORDER :
This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. by thepetitioners/accused seeking to quash the proceedings in crime No.109of 2007 of Narasaraopet Town Police Station, Guntur District,registered for the offence punishable under Sections 448, 427, 468and 420 I.P.C.
2) Heard.
3) The crime is registered in the year 2007 and the petitionseeking to quash the proceedings is filed in the year 2009. Hence,without going into merits of the case, this petition is liable to bedismissed as in case there is no prima facie material against thepetitioners, they ought to have approached this Court at the initialstage itself and the petitioners might have filed this petition in order todelay the disposal of main case.
4) However, considering the circumstances of the case, it is directed that petitioner Nos.2 to 11 shall not be arrested till filing ofcharge sheet, if any. The investigation and consequential steps on thebasis of investigation can go on.
5) Accordingly, the criminal petition is disposed of.
