ORDER:

The 1[st] petitioner is the wife and the 2[nd] petitioner is the son, of one Balaiah, who was employed as a Driver in Asifabad Depot of APSRTC, AdilabadDistrict, 2[nd] respondent herein. He is said to have died on 01.11.2005, while inservice. The 2[n d ]petitioner has made a representation on 29.11.2005 to therespondent, with a request to provide him employment, on compassionategrounds. The grievance of the petitioners is that that the respondents have notpassed any order as yet.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counselfor the respondents .

The question as to whether there exists any scheme for providing employmentto the dependants of the deceased-employees, on compassionate grounds, andif so, the terms thereof, needs to be examined, in the context of theconsideration of the application of the 2[nd] petitioner. It cannot be said that therewas undue delay on the part of the respondents in considering the case of the2[nd] petitioner, since the application was made as recently as on 29.11.2005.The respondents need to examine various aspects of the scheme as well as the entitlement of the 2[nd] petitioner.

Hence, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to considerthe application of the 2[nd] petitioner, and pass appropriate orders thereon, withina period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
