ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed with the grievance that therespondents have been proposing to assign the agricultural land, already assigned to them, to third parties in the ‘7[th] phase landdistribution program’.

At the hearing, learned Government Pleader for Revenue(Assignments), on instructions, submitted that the petitioners wereindeed granted assignments as claimed by them in this Writ Petitionand that they have kept the assigned lands uncultivated. She has, however, stated that as of now there is no proposal for distribution ofland to third parties and that if the petitioners are found to have violatedthe assignment conditions, the respondents will initiate appropriateproceedings in law for cancellation of the assignments.

In the light of the above submissions of the learned AssistantGovernment Pleader, which are placed on record, the Writ Petition isdisposed of.

As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WP.MP.No.48436 of2013 filed by the petitioners for interim relief shall stand disposed of asinfructuous.
