Conclusion
THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE N.V. RAMANAW.P. No. 6482 of 2003
Oral order:
The petitioner assailing the action of the respondents in notselecting and appointing him as Sub-Engineer filed the present writpetition.
When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, neither thepetitioner nor his counsel are present nor is there any representationon their behalf. However, the learned Standing Counsel for therespondents submitted that grievance of the petitioner in the writpetition is that the respondents have not passed any speaking orderswith regard to the non-selection of the petitioner, and that this Courtdisposed of several writ petitions with similar grievance with adirection to the respondents to pass speaking orders with respect tonon-selection.
In the circumstances, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writpetition with the following directions:
The respondents are directed to pass appropriate speakingorders with respect to non-selection and appointment of the petitioner,if not already passed, within a period of six weeks from the date ofreceipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
Dated: 28[th] December, 2006.
