ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, thepetitioner herein prays that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased toissue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one inthe nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondents torestore him to his original post of Clerk with all back wagesbenefits of scale of pay and due promotion on the due dates asalso the time bond promotions of 8 & 16 years as eligible.”
Mrs. Uma Devi, learned counsel representing Ms. G.Sudha,learned counsel for the petitioner requests for permission to withdrawthe writ petition in terms of letter, dated 23.12.2008 filed in the Registry.
The request of the learned counsel is accepted and the writpetition is dismissed as withdrawn.
