It is represented by Mr.A.K.Jayaprakash Rao, learned counsel for thepetitioner, that the cause in the writ petition, filed seeking promotionfrom the post of Conductor to that of an Assistant Depot Controller,does not survive, since the petitioner died three years ago and therelief of promotion being particular to the petitioner herein, wouldrender the writ petition infructuous.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
No costs.
