HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE R.KANTHA RAO

ORDER

CRL.P.No.14938 of 2013

The petitioner–A7 apprehends arrest in Cr.No.41 of 2013o f C.Belagal Police Station, C.Belagal, Kurnool District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 120-B,364, 302 and 201 read with 34 IPC.

Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner andlearned Additional Public Prosecutor representing therespondent-State.

The First Information Report in this case is lodged by theVillage Revenue Officer, Palakudoddi, on coming to know aboutthe existence of the dead body of an unknown person in thefields of the village. The names of the accused are notmentioned in the First Information Report.

The record of investigation reveals that A7 and his closeassociates conspired with A1 and killed the deceased.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits thatA7 is only a villager and he has nothing to do with the allegedoffence.

On the other hand, learned Additional Public Prosecutorwould submit that A7 is a close associate of A1 and one of theconspirators in the commission of the offence. He wouldfurther submit that investigation in this case is still going on.

In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to grantanticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
