The petitioner–accused apprehends arrest inCr.No.86 of 2013 of Kasapuram Police Station,Anantapur District, registered for the offencespunishable under Sections 498-A, 34 IPC and Sections3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Heard learned counsel appearing for thepetitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutorrepresenting the respondent-State.
Specific allegations attracting the ingredients ofSection 498-A IPC have been made against petitionerwith regard to harassment of the de facto complainantfor additional dowry.
In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to grantanticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
