Order:

This contempt case is filed alleging wilful disobedience andnon-compliance of the orders passed by this Court inW.P.M.P.No.18784 of 2008 in W.P.No.14555 of 2008 dated8.7.2008.

By the above said orders, this court while granting time to thelearned Government Pleader for Revenue to file counter, directedthe parties to maintain status quo obtaining as on that date.

The learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in spiteof the status quo orders passed by this Court, the respondents havedemolished the house of the petitioner and evicted her.

The respondents have filed a counter affidavit denying theallegations levelled against them and stated that, in fact, as per theproceedings of the Kurnool Municipal Corporation, there is no doorNo.46-785-A1 as stated by the petitioner and that the possessioncertificate said to have been issued by the revenue department on11.5.2001 as per G.O.Ms.No.546 dated 30.6.1997 was never issuedby the revenue department and the same is created by the petitioneronly for the purpose of the present contempt case. However, ultimately it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that theTahsildar, Kallur Mandal has considered the request of thepetitioner and the respondents are going to provide the petitioner ahouse under Indiramma Housing Scheme in Kurnool MunicipalCorporation limits.

Recording the above submission, the contempt case isclosed and the respondents are directed to provide the petitionerwith the house under the Indiramma Scheme, within eight weeksfrom the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In view of the above undertaking given by the respondents,no further orders are necessary in the writ petition and it isaccordingly closed.
